Mat Pilates

Mat Pilates classes focus on developing core strength, flexibility, balance and stamina. Our instructors focus on technique and present exercises at multiple levels which allow you to work at a beginning, intermediate, or advanced pace. You will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the deep muscles of the core. Use of small equipment (e.g. bands, foam rollers, rings, light weights, and balls) keeps your workout fresh and exciting. The pace is upbeat and energizing so you leave feeling invigorated. No previous Pilates experience is necessary to join a mat class.
