Ask your average American to name the most famous Italian and you might get answers such as, “Christopher Columbus,” “Donatella Versace,” or “Romeo and Juliet”. Ask anyone from Momentum and she’ll say without missing a beat, “Ornella.” She’s pretty famous around here and rightfully so. Ornella talks the talk (with a beautiful accent), and walks the walk (with a killer strut) when it comes to fitness and women’s health. Having recently become an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, she is even more determined to make her mark on the fitness world and Momentum is thankful that she calls us home.
Ornella’s list of certifications include: AFAA Group Fitness, Les Mills Advanced BODYCOMBAT Instructor, Advanced BODYATTACK Instructor, BODYSTEP Instructor and GRIT Trainer, TRX Level 2 Qualified Trainer in Sports Medicine and Small Group Training as well as 1 on 1 Personal Training.
With this list of accomplishment s under her belt, she is a force to be reckoned with in all of the most wonderful ways. Ornell’a roots with Momentum began in 2008 when she first became a member and competed in our annual “Diva Contest.” She didn’t win but was still sent for Les Mills BODYCOMBAT training in 2009 and returned certified and hungry for more. Momentum is the perfect home for Ornella because she loves group fitness and small group training. “It’s the group. The power from the group is amazing… being a part of peoples’ changes.”
In the Personal Training environment, Ornella is passionate about “bringing people on their feet.” She says, “Commitment is hard. People need a reason to do something.” And Ornella is happy to help women discover their reason. She describes working with her clients one-on-one with such sincerity and a genuine, heartfelt kindness. Her goals for each of her clients is that their time with her wouldn’t be forever, but that she would train them, teach them, and then watch them go on and succeed.
